Charlie Broadwater is the Owner of Sunbelt Richmond and has been involved in the business brokerage business for 17 years. Either directly, or working with members of his team, he has been involved in the sale of over 200 businesses. Prior to becoming a business intermediary, he worked in the financial services industry, with Bank of America, for 27 years. His primary business focus is on business sales and mergers & acquisitions. His client engagements have included a wide variety of businesses including companies in the manufacturing, distribution, medical, construction and business service industries. He holds a B.S. degree in Management from Virginia Tech, a MBA from East Tennessee State University and is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. Mr. Broadwater has been awarded the highly coveted designations of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) by the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) and Mergers & Acquisitions Master Intermediary (M&AMI) by the M&A SOURCE. He is a registered representative of StillPoint Capital, holding both the series 63 and series 82 licenses. Recognized nationally for his work in the field of business brokerage, his peers honored him in 2010 by making him a Fellow of the IBBA.
